When the sleeve reaches the target temperature, the sleeve recovers, the sealant flows and the thermocromatic paint changes color. The benefits of this system are that cable damage and scorching is eliminated and a waterproof barrier is formed.

CFSP Fusion Splice Sleeve- protects fiber optic splices from mechanical and environmental effects. The unique design of the CFSP has only one entry point for the fiber and misthreading into the backbone can not occur, which is common with all other competitive products. The CFSP also offers a longer liner and a beveled stainless steel reinforcing rod which eliminates the risk of fiber damage during installation.
