QQQT (stock # 6289) Quad array of four QPSK to QAM Transcoders. Each of the transcoders does this by accomplishing two important functions. First, each transcodes any 30MHz wide QPSK modulated satellite signal to a 6MHz wide QAM modulated IF signal. Second, each translates the resultant 6MHz wide IF signal to any CATV RF channel assignment in the 54-750 or 550-860MHz frequency band. The QQQT is designed to be compatible with the Motorola DigiCipher® II set-top decoders.
